friend of mine requested a tattoo design involving a peacock with its tail fading into water, and a koi swimming in the water.

watercolor, normal, and verithin prismacolors, micron/faber-castell ink. background cleanup, stroke, and eye highlights added in photoshop cs.

probably. don't worry, though, you've got what, three years before you're even legal for a tattoo? you'll probably change your mind re: what you want, or if you don't, that's plenty of time to come up with your own peacock/koi design to use. :3

I would be :P but that's just because it has a personal meaning for me... if you wanted to get a "similar" image redesigned... that would be OK

I also want to get something like this. I love the idea and you did it beautifully. I'm going to take this is as a reference (if you don't mind) and have the woman that does my tattoos customize it. So, it's not the same. Only if it's ok with you! :)

anyone can take an idea and bring it to life in an entirely different way. as long as she does the ';peacock with tail turning into water and koi swimming through' thing in her own style (whatever that may be), it should be all right. :3
